I had a great stay in a picturesque location! The view from the terrace was absolutely stunning, and I loved waking up to it every morning. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a variety of tasty options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering us recommendations on what to do during our stay. Plus, the room was clean and comfortable, making for a great overall experience.
The location was a bit isolated, so it was difficult to find restaurants and other amenities nearby. the lack of on-site dining options meant we had to venture out to find meals, which was inconvenient.

Our stay at Gold Istra was exceptional. The location of the hotel, nestled on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the mountains and olive trees, was like something out of a fairy tale. It was also conveniently located close to the coast and the Croatian border, perfect for exploring the area. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel is ideal for families, with a small playground nearby and a peaceful neighborhood. The natural surroundings offered many scenic walking paths, perfect for enjoying the beauty of the area.
One minor issue we experienced was the lack of sound isolation between our room and the kitchen in the opposite building. We could occasionally hear the vibration of the coffee machine in the morning.

Room and staff were excellent, and the location was amazing! the room was spacious with good quality furniture and comfy beds. the staff were very helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area and were always available to answer any questions we had. the location was surrounded by nature and with a sky full of stars at night, we enjoyed the peaceful ambiance. There were also some great local places to visit nearby which we loved exploring.
We were not impressed with the restaurant. They had very small portions which were overpriced, and the menu was not written clearly.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
